It’s 1st Sunday Blues again, so get your musical “fix” by playing, dancing, or just having a great time. Musicians from all over the Triangle and beyond show up to play.

Our guest hosts this month: Drew Questell Band

A North Carolina native, Drew Questell has been a part of the Triangle Blues scene since his teens. Drew holds the Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Industry Studies from Appalachian State University where he studied both Jazz and Classical guitar. His fusion of Blues, Jazz, Rock and Country styles flow through his playing and soulful vocals.

– Dr. Alan Celeste, Keyboard; a true doctor of keys, Alan brings a fourth dimension to the music with his virtuosity and talent as both a rhythm player or soloist!
– Joel Sugarman, Bass; a well travelled veteran of musical styles and locations, Joel honed his craft over the years while living in metro NY, Athens, GA and for the last 25 plus years in RDU. His knack for finding the “pocket” with his low end groove keeps the Drew Questell Band solid.
– Kevin Johnson, Drums: a true music and drum connoisseur , K’Mo has the experience and chops that allow Drew to float effortlessly through his diverse musical styles. His rock solid, funky drumming truly anchors the band.
