DURHAM — The Triangle Blues Society will present its Toys for Tots program Dec. 4, 2021, from noon until 3 p.m. during its First Saturday Monthly Blues Jam, at The Blue Note Grill, 709 Washington St.
Bring a new, unwrapped toy and receive a free one-year TBS Membership or renewal (valued at $10). Your gift will help ensure that more kids have a gift to open on Christmas morning. Even the smallest gift can bring a smile. Make a difference.
What to bring: a new, unwrapped toy for a child ages newborn through 16. Popular and appropriate toy categories include stuffed animals, dolls, sporting equipment (like bags and balls), books, backpacks, board games, radio control cars/trucks, hand-held electronics, and skateboards/helmets. Imagine you’re buying for your own children, nieces, nephews, or grandchildren.
What NOT to bring: Do not give food, or toys that look like realistic weapons. If donated, such items will NOT be distributed.
And, as always, if you want to play the blues, bring your instrument or voice (or both) and sign up to participate.
