Amra's
Located a block from Raleigh's Historic Depot District, this blues & jazz club is reminiscent of an old-time speakeasy--where one would expect Al Capone to walk in at any time. Its 22-foot-high ceiling, leather chairs and dark fabric wall panels complement a baby grand and small tables accessorized by lamps. Live entertainment, cigars, cocktails, wines and beer draw a brisk after-work professional crowd. Weekends bring a mix of young and old music lovers. Local blues and jazz talent every week.

Amra's - 1600 Glenwood Ave. Raleigh, NC 27603 919.828.8488

Blue Bayou ClubThe Blue Bayou Club
FEATURED TBS VENUE - Bringing the best in local and national blues entertainment, The Blue Bayou Club is a true down home juke joint where people can find connection with each other and enjoy live music. It is a friendly place like a gathering place oughta be. Leave your worries at the door, dance if you want, hang out and feel young again. They have the friendliest staff, and the best music around. Well worth the price of a babysitter. They may be small but we have a big heart. The Blue Bayou hosts the Blue Tuesday Blues Jam every other week with Butch Haas.

Yancy's
Yancy's has paid extra special attention to detail. The Bourbon Street-style bar is industrial, but rich with stainless steel trimming golden yellow onyx stone and deep maple wood. The audio and visual equipment throughout make the stage the center of attention. Designed by the master engineers behind Carnegie Hall, the sound system that runs throughout the restaurant is absolutely perfected! Local blues and jazz every week. Even the bathrooms at Yancy's treat visitors to an out-of-Raleigh experience. Stainless steel tiles, fresh flowers, and 36" PLASMA SCREEN TVs (so you won't miss any of the band, of course). No detail undone!
