The Prize package includes:

BAND
• the opportunity to compete in the 2009 IBC
• $500 toward IBC travel/lodging expenses
• a slot in the 2009 Bull Durham Blues Festival
• performance at the Blue Bayou Club in Hillsborough
• performance at Yancy's in Raleigh

SOLO/DUO
• the opportunity to compete in the 2009 IBC
• $150 per person toward IBC travel/lodging expenses
• a slot in the 2009 American Tobacco Amphitheatre Lawn Series
• performance at the Blue Bayou Club in Hillsborough
• performance at Yancy's in Raleigh

Full TBS rules are located here, but here are a few basics you need to know:

All acts must be NC-based acts (51% of your act must reside in NC).

Hand-delivered applications must be to TBS by/on Sunday, June 8. Mailed applications must be postmarked by/on Monday, June 9.

The registration fee ($25) will be refunded to acts not selected to compete. Acts selected to compete must notify TBS by/on Sunday, June 22, if they must withdraw (these act will receive a refund). Notification of withdrawal after June 25 will result in a non-refundable fee.

An individual may not compete in more than one act in any capacity.
